Wiki

Career

He steered sides like 4 Clovers & Lepricon, Team Infused, and QPAD amongst other teams. Wagamama was even a member of the analyst desk and talent at The International 5.
Besides his playing career, the Swede is also popular for his streaming, casting, and also writing guides for Dota 2.

In his early days, he used to lead an all-Swede squad that comprised the likes of smulgullig, Mini, Intersport, etc.

However, the Wagamama-led team underwent an overhaul or rebrand of sorts as they assumed the name ‘Emocore’ when they began their journey in Dota 2 and pursued their search for sponsors in the autumn of 2011.

Though the entire team parted ways back in 2011, they had already made a name for themselves by maintaining a solitary sponsor amidst a team when other squads switched promoters quite consistently.

However, the Wagamama-led team underwent an overhaul or rebrand of sorts as they assumed the name ‘Emocore’ when they began their journey in Dota 2 and pursued their search for sponsors in the autumn of 2011.

Following certain initial partnerships, Emocore renamed itself Skånes Elit and was thus picked by Pulse eSports just before their separation.

Wagamama later went on to head QPAD and also joined compLexity Gaming as a streamer in 2016.

However, the gamer has had a rich experience playing across multiple teams over the previous decade. Naturally, he has several anecdotes to share from his peak as well, one of which includes Wagamama’s feud against StarLadder caster and admin V1lat.

V1lat had asked Wagamama’s team to attend a StarLadder event and even assured them adequate compensation for their €1000 expenses. The terms were such that StarLadder had agreed to cover about 50 percent of those expenditures but refrained from doing so eventually, which certainly irked Wagamama and led to his public outburst against the incident a few years down the line.

The major data leak that exposed the net worth and incomes of streamers didn’t evade Wagamama either. In no way did the leak cover every source of income of the concerned individuals, but it still managed to rattle some key horses in the game, which included the aforementioned Swede as well.

With a net worth close to $130,000, Wagamama occupied a space filled by Dota 2 players who didn’t break into the top echelons of the standings but yet apparently had attracted a very sweet piece of the pie for themselves. Though the likes of AdmiralBulldog and Gorge topped the rankings, Wagamama had managed to bridge the gap with a couple of prominent streamers like mason and BSJ back then!
