Wiki

Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin is a Russian player who is currently playing for Gambit Esports. He is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player.

Career

nAts was a former Counter-Strike veteran and an experienced player picked up by Gambit Esports on 28th September, 2020 from FishkaVTom. He has since created a name for himself in the Valorant scene playing anchor for Gambit on agents like Cypher and Viper. NAts does not show up on the kill feed with his playstyle but his utility and information provides great help to his team. His solo B site holds and impact kills have often bailed out Gambit from tough scenarios’.

The first major Grand Final with nAts and Gambit was the Nicecactus Summer Trophy #2. Gambit won 2-0 against HSDIRR and nAts was on Cypher for both maps.

He had impenetrable setups on both Bind and Split which secured his team many rounds on the defence. He had an ACS of 199 and ADR of 133 but his impact showed when it was most needed. Always at the right place at the right time for his team, nAts welcomed enemies and shredded through them on his setups.

The next Major Grand Final was the NGL Open Cup, although Gambit lost 2-1 to Opportunists nAts cemented his position in the roster with a great showing. He played Cyoher on all three maps (Bind, Haven and Split) and outfragged everyone except rodeN(53 kills) with 52 kills. He had amazing hold and at times it felt like the tide was on Gambit’s favour, but a trail of rounds assured the victory for Opportunists. NAts had an ACS of 238 and 144 ADR in the series.

NAts then went on to win 2 VCT hosted tournaments with Gambit. Champions Tour CIS Stage 1: Masters, winning 3-0 against forZe and Valorant Champions Tour Stage 3: Masters Berlin winning 3-0 against Envy. NAts had a great showing on both the series playing his usual Cypher and Viper. He is regarded as one of the best Anchor/Sentinel players in the CIS region
