Controversies

One of the biggest controversies surrounding Team Liquid is their decision to replace Chae "Piglet" Gwang-jin with Kim "Violet" Dong-hwi. Piglet is a fan favorite and was seen as one of the best players on the team. Many fans were upset that he was being replaced and felt that it was a mistake.

Another controversy was their decision to drop long-time support player Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-in. CoreJJ was a fan favorite and had been with the team for a long time. His replacement, Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung, was not well known and many fans felt that he was not up to the task of replacing CoreJJ.

The final controversy surrounds the team's decision to Bootcamp in Korea. This caused a lot of strife within the team as many of the players are not comfortable living and playing in Korea. This led to some players, including Piglet, threatening to leave the team.
