In the following months, the team would go on to compete in several other tournaments and events, including the VCT Game Changers event, where they finished in 2nd place.

Controversies

The American Valorant esports team TSM X has been involved in a number of controversies since its inception. The most notable of these controversies is the team’s involvement in the so-called “Valorant cheating scandal.” In August of 2020, several members of the TSM X team were accused of using an aimbot in competitive play. While the team and the players denied the accusations, the controversy resulted in the team being banned from competitive play for a period of time. In addition, the team’s manager was also fired in the wake of the scandal.

Another controversy that the team has been involved in is its use of racial slurs in competitive play. In October of 2020, a member of the team used a racial slur during a match. The team was subsequently fined and the player was suspended.

Lastly, the team has also been accused of match fixing. In December of 2020, it was alleged that the team had fixed a match in order to lose and gain an advantage in a future match. While the team denied the accusations, the controversy continues to dog the team.
