Shadow Daggers

The Shadow Daggers, affectionately known throughout Counter-Strike lore as the "Butt Plugs" or push daggers, represent the sole dual-wielded akimbo melee option in Counter-Strike 2. Introduced in the Shadow Case in September 2015, the Shadow Daggers are modeled after personal defense push knives featuring horizontal T-shaped handles gripped securely between the fingers, allowing the operator to deliver rapid, penetrating thrusts through direct punching motions. Mechanically, the Shadow Daggers operate with standard competitive melee parameters: granting 250 units per second running speed, 65-damage heavy stabs, and 182-damage lethal backstabs yielding $1,500. Their defining feature is their twin-handed presentation: the operator holds a dagger in each fist, alternating between left and right punches during primary slashes and executing a ferocious cross-slashing double thrust during secondary stabs. Upon deployment, the operator twirls both daggers into their palms simultaneously with a crisp clicking sound. In the skin marketplace, the Shadow Daggers offer a unique visual proposition because the skin pattern is mirrored across two separate blades. Finishes like the Shadow Daggers Fade, Crimson Web, Tiger Tooth, and Doppler (especially Ruby and Sapphire) provide dual-wielding enthusiasts with an affordable and highly distinctive aesthetic that stands apart from single-blade designs.
