The match was a quick and fast win for FaZe in PGL Major 2022 Antwerp. FaZe took the game by the storm after round two and closed it in 1 – 1 pool by beating Bad News Eagle in the first day of Legend Stage.
This match was very quick for FaZe Clan. In the first two rounds, Bad News Eagle put pressure on the American CS:GO team, but slowly and steadily after those two rounds, FaZe looked like they were coming back.
As soon as they picked up rifles and AWPs, and were equipped with full utility, they just claimed the match by storm.
The Bad News Eagles removed Nuke and Inferno from their map pool, while FaZe removed Vertigo, Mirage, and Dust2. This left Ancient as the only map remaining. So, the match was played in the Ancient.
